For 20 years Tamar lived on a remote Gulf Island property accessed only by boat. Here she passionately observed and photographed the wildlife at her doorstep. With a degree in Elementary School Education, she loves teaching children and adults about the natural world which is so vital to our health and well-being.

The coasters, placemats, games and calendar are sold at the Saturday Market in Centennial Park on Salt Spring Island from April through October, where you can meet Tamar in person.
